Our friends! They share the same interest as us. We are willing to affiliate with any group which follows the same dark/violent theme we have. From RP, genre specific to original and fan groups, we accept them all!
Rules subject to change as staff sees fit. 1. The more gore, the better! This is a nightmare group. The more horrible, frightening, bloody, and graphic the art, the better! Those with weak constitutions, shield your eyes! 2. From fan art to original art... You can include ANY fan art and your original art. As long as it's terribly disturbing, dark, mischievous, or frightening. 3. "My art isn't really violent but it's still dark. Does this count?" Sure it does! Playful, dark fantasy art is included, too! Anything dark, upload it here! 4. "How about this nude subject? It's dark, too!" Careful with nude subjects. The less detailed the nude subject (take away the nipples, genitalia, etc,), the better. Please ensure the appropriate maturity filters are on place upon any such deviations which could be deamed as containing sexual content. If you fail to meet this standard your work will be denied acceptance until these requirements have been met. 5. Anyone is welcome to upload their art! Don't be shy! Go ahead and upload! 6. "May I join?" No need to ask. Just sign up! 7. "May I upload my literature? It's incredibly violent/dark." ANYTHING is welcome! Even our authors are welcome to upload their frightening stories, poems, and more. Upload your literature! 8. "Where do I submit my work to?" In order to prevent deviations from being placed in the incorrect folders the staff has disabled submission to all but the UNSORTED folder. When looking to contribute art please submit your works to the UNSORTED folder. Once your artwork has been accepted into this folder, one of the staff members will then move your work to the appropriate folder for its particular subject matter. Please remember that all works are subject to vote by staff upon submission and not all works can be accepted right away. Please remember, the staff members have lives outside of the internet and will respond to submissions and questions ASAP. 9. "Are we allowed to submit WIP/lineart work?" YES. Nightmare Collections accepts WIP and lineart works to our gallery. However all unfinished works have a special home. Upon acceptance they will be moved to the folder specifically titled Work In Progress. When you have completed a deviation, please submit the finished deviation seperately from the WIP you previous uploaded. 10. "What is the Featured Folder for exactly?" The Featured Folder will be used to display works for future contests such as 'Of the Month" submissions and it will also be used to display artwork the staff feels displays effort and fits with the current theme which has been chosen for that month. For example, an announcement will be made at the start of every month in the Group Blog explaining what theme the staff has chosen to highlight upon in the gallery. 11. "How many deviations can be submitted per day?" In order to prevent flooding member inboxes and to prevent the staff from becoming overwhelmed with sorting through and voting upon submissions, a limit has been set for members and staff alike. Members and Staff can submit no more than 5 deviations per every 24 hours. |
